all the options. all the fun. All for you.
Kettle Moraine Kubb members compete in tournaments all over the country, but we also host our own events each year; Kubbapalooza (combination of the Grass Games and the Sand Games), and in winter, Kubb On The Pond (the Ice Games).
Kubbapalooza is a special weekend gathering of kubb friends. Bring your tent, bring the RV, bring the van, bring your Kubbstream! Pet friendly! It’s a whole weekend of fun events (Grass Games and Sand Games), with socializing, camping, bonfires, eating, more kubb, hiking, sitting, biking, kayaking, swimming, relaxing, laughing, and camaraderizing. Kubbapalooza is a knock-down good time!
The Grass Games are held on a Saturday, right at the Kubbapalooza site within Menomonee Park. Teams of 2 or more players, of all skill levels, can partake in this competitive yet friendly and fun event. Scores and points count toward the weekend Grand Kubbapalooza Winners (1 male and 1 female), to be awarded after the Sand Games that Sunday. Brats and hot dogs lunch are provided from KMK (bring a dish or snack to pass), ensuring that you’ll only be hungry for a win. Then stick around for an evening of bring-your-own-instrument music fun around the campfire complete with s’mores. It all goes down at Menomonee Park, in Menomonee Falls, WI.
The Sand Games are on Sunday, just a short walk from the Kubbapalooza site, on the quarry beach. These are really fun scramble style games with teams of up to 6 players. Scores and points count toward the weekend Grand Kubbapalooza Winners, with winners announced and awarded special prizes after the Sand Games.
The weekend Grand Kubbapalooza Winners are determined by the total points from both the Grass Games and Sand Games, for both a male and female player. Upon completion of the Sand Games on Sunday, the Grand Kubbapalooza Winners receive special awards, along with the official jersey retirement of the previous year’s Grand Kubbapalooza Winners!
KUBB ON THE POND
Kubb On The Pond (the Ice Games) is KMK’s outdoor winter event. It is held on a frozen pond nestled along a nature trail. Another fun scramble format promises to be a great way to enjoy a winter day.
more options. more fun.
